Marling

In Marling, active holidaymakers can enjoy authentic and genuine South Tyrolean quality at all altitudes, from fine restaurants to mountain inns. Wine is also part of life in Marling. Evidence of this can be found everywhere: the large Meran wine cellar co-operative, numerous wine farms run by private winegrowers and the WineCultureTrail – they bring the wine culture in Marling to life every day.

Meran

Meran is the second largest city in South Tyrol after the Italian-influenced Bolzano and is characterised by its German-speaking majority. The spa town is beautifully situated in the middle of an impressive mountain world. The very mild climate all year round with more than 300 days of sunshine attracts many visitors from all over the world, not only hikers and skiers, but also admirers of the remarkable old town centre. Merano is home to many traditional shops and modern retail chains in the city centre under the medieval arcades, offering customers a unique shopping experience.

Thermal spa in Meran

Thermal spa in Meran is a real oasis of well-being. Relax in the 50,000 m² park, unwind in the terrace café or enjoy the sauna, spa and fitness in the wellness worlds. Naturally, all treatments in the wellness area use pure raw materials from the region, and you will also be amazed by the design architecture. If you don’t plan at least one visit to Thermal Spa in Meran during your holiday in South Tyrol, you are missing out on one of the absolute highlights of this region.

Trauttmansdorff Castle

The botanical gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are undisputedly among the most beautiful gardens in Europe. Here you will find over 80 different garden landscapes, from forest gardens to sun gardens, water and terrace gardens to gardens that reflect the typical flora of South Tyrol. Don’t miss out on a visit to the beautifully restored castle with its permanent exhibition on the history of tourism in Tyrol and South Tyrol. In the Touriseum, the development of tourism in this Alpine region is vividly presented in a multimedia exhibition.

Bolzano

Would you like to leave the quiet village life behind for a few hours? Then why not visit nearby Bolzano! There you will find a varied cultural programme and a variety of shopping opportunities. The capital of South Tyrol impresses with the flair of the “small big city” and is a place of contrasts. The new blends charmingly with the old and the romantic, winding alleyways of Bolzano’s arcades are the perfect place for a stroll. And you can marvel at “Ötzi” in the archaeological museum.

We look forward to your visit!
